Terms of Service

Effective date: 13 May 2026

AutoKeep is provided free, as-is, with all your data on your device. Use it for personal vehicle tracking — not for anything regulated or safety-critical. Asset Track makes no guarantees about accuracy. You are responsible for your own backups.

Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using AutoKeep, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The Service

AutoKeep is a free iOS application (iOS 17.0 and later, iPhone only) for personal vehicle record-keeping — maintenance history, fuel logs, expenses, and reminders. The app operates entirely on your device. There is no cloud component, no server, no account, and no sign-in. Asset Track provides no backend service in connection with AutoKeep.

Your Data and Your Responsibility for Backups

All data you enter into AutoKeep is stored exclusively on your iPhone. Asset Track does not back up your data, cannot recover it, and has no access to it.

This means:

If you lose, replace, or reset your iPhone without first exporting a backup, your data is permanently lost.
Asset Track bears no liability for data loss resulting from device failure, theft, accidental deletion, iOS updates, or any other cause.

To protect your data: use AutoKeep's built-in export feature to save a backup ZIP to a location you control — iCloud Drive, a computer, an external drive — and do this regularly. Importing the ZIP restores your records. This is the only backup mechanism available.

Acceptable Use

You may use AutoKeep for personal, non-commercial vehicle tracking. You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable Polish or EU law
Use data produced by the app for unlawful purposes, including fraudulent warranty claims or falsified vehicle histories
Rely on the app for commercial fleet management, safety-critical maintenance scheduling, or regulated compliance programmes without independent verification
Attempt to circumvent any iOS security feature or the app's data protection mechanisms

No Professional Advice

AutoKeep is an informational record-keeping tool. Nothing in the app constitutes tax advice, legal advice, accounting advice, mechanical advice, or safety advice. Do not substitute the app's records or reports for the opinion of a qualified professional in any of these areas.

Accuracy Disclaimer

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. AutoKeep performs calculations (fuel economy, cost-per-kilometre, service intervals) based solely on the figures you provide. You must verify any figure produced by the app before relying on it for tax filings, warranty claims, vehicle resale, or any legal or financial matter. Asset Track does not warrant the accuracy of any calculation or reminder.

Intellectual Property

The AutoKeep application, brand, name, icon, and all associated software are owned by Asset Track Sp. z o.o. and protected under applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms of Service.

You own the data you enter. Asset Track claims no rights over vehicle records, fuel logs, photos, or any other content you create in the app.

Third-Party Content

Apple App Store

AutoKeep is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App Store is governed by Apple's own terms of service. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation to you under them.

Photos and Files

When you attach a photo or document to a record, that file is copied from your device's Photos library or Files app into AutoKeep's local sandbox. Any metadata embedded in those files (such as EXIF data) remains in the copy stored locally. Asset Track does not process or read this metadata.

Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement

The following terms apply because AutoKeep is distributed through the Apple App Store:

The licence granted to you is limited to use on Apple-branded products that you own or control.
Asset Track, not Apple, is solely responsible for AutoKeep and its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for AutoKeep.
In the event of any failure of AutoKeep to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any) paid for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding AutoKeep.
Asset Track, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to AutoKeep or your possession and use of it, including product liability claims, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property infringement claims.
Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Updates and Changes to the App

Asset Track may update, modify, or discontinue AutoKeep at any time without prior notice. Because the app operates entirely on-device, discontinuing distribution does not affect your ability to continue using a version you have already installed. We are not obligated to provide updates, new features, or ongoing support.

Disclaimers

AutoKeep is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Asset Track disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of defects.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Asset Track's total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to AutoKeep is limited to €50 or the total amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. While the app remains free, Asset Track's liability is effectively zero for app-related claims.

In no event will Asset Track be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory provisions of Polish consumer protection law or EU law, including rights you may have under Directive 2011/83/EU (Consumer Rights).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Asset Track Sp. z o.o., its officers, directors, and employees from any claim, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the app.

Termination

You may stop using AutoKeep at any time by deleting the app from your device. Deletion permanently removes all locally stored data. Asset Track may suspend or terminate your access to future updates or support if you materially breach these Terms.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Poland. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of AutoKeep shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Warsaw (Sąd Rejonowy dla m.st. Warszawy or Sąd Okręgowy w Warszawie, depending on the value of the claim).

If you are an EU consumer, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence also apply and are not displaced by this clause.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

Asset Track may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date on this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
